Gabriela is a multidisciplinary visual artist splitting her time between Brooklyn, NY, and her hometown of Warsaw, Poland.
Coming from Media Arts background (BA Goldsmiths, University of London and MA Pratt Institute), Gabriela always seeks to push the boundaries of her animation practice. She graduated from the prestigious Gobelins École de l'image in Paris Summer Program in Character Animation. In her work, she combines her quirky style of hand drawn animation with a range of digital and analog experimental practices.
In addition to producing animated shorts and music videos, Gabriela often collaborates with musicians, mixing her psychedelic visuals live for stage projections during concerts. She performed visual sets at venues such as The Mercury Lounge, Elsewhere, the Brooklyn Bowl or The Bowery Electric.
