Queen of the Forest (2018)
Gabriela’s debut animated short and graduation film from Goldsmiths, University of London is a deeply personal story, approaching the harsh reality of losing a loved one with a childlike naivety. Hand-drawn with oil pastels on paper. It was screened at festivals worldwide and received the Student Royal Television Award for writing.
A deeply personal story about the disillusionment coming with the loss of a close one. This short film positions the universally cyclical nature of human experience as being interwoven with the intensely personal process of coming to terms with loss.
